Cement and its use

Cement मध्ये हे दोन प्रकार जास्त प्रमाणांत वापरले जातात

1. Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC)

 

या सिमेंट ला opc cement असेही म्हटलं जात

जो जगभरात तयार आणि वापरला जातो.  

OPC cement  तीन grade मध्ये येते

33,43,53 grade

33 grade  म्हणजे  Compressive Strength of cement after 28 days is 33N/mm2

43 grade  म्हणजे  Compressive Strength of cement after 28 days is 43N/mm2

53 grade  म्हणजे  Compressive Strength of cement after 28 days is 53N/mm2

2. Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC)

या सिमेंट ला ppc cement असेही म्हटलं जात

हे बांधकामात मोठ्या प्रमाणात वापरले जाते:

हे dams , Sewage works,plaster,tiling,and building finishing  या मध्ये मोठया प्रमाणांत वापरले जाते

आत आपण सिमेंट मध्ये chemical constituents  आहे हे बघू

1) Lime 

2) silica

3)Alumina

4)Iron Oxide

5)Magnesium

6)Sulphur Trioxide

Cement च्या compressive strength वर  त्या च्या वयाचा फरक पडतो

म्हणजे जर सिमेंट स्टोअर करून ठेवले असेल आणि ते जुनं असेल तर त्याची Compressive strength ही कमी होते आणि जर सिमेँट नवीन असेल  तर त्याचीCompressive strength जुन्या पेक्षा जास्त असते
